About me
I work in marketing and communications, with the majority of my career as a Content Marketing Specialist and Content Writer. What this really means is I take complex and technical topics and turn them into stories that people care about.
My most recent content-related role was at an intellectual property firm that had me working with lawyers and patent attorneys to get legalese subjects spun into easily digestible content for the everyday layman. Before this, I was working with a team of writers to create pieces and infographics about personal finance for Singaporeans, who, according to Standard & Poor, are considerably financially illiterate. I was also a Content Editor for the Singapore equivalent of SEEK (which is also owned by the Australian giant) and a Copywriter for an online classifieds ad platform.
I am a great believer in stories connecting people. Or rather, in my line of work, stories connecting businesses with people.
